Amendment 1

Amendment one states that no laws that contain religion, take away and/or limit the freedom of speech, or the freedom of the press are allowed to be created by Congress. These are laws that will and should live forever.
Amendment 2

Amendment two states that people are allowed to keep guns. Amendment two also states that this law should not be violated.
Amendment 3

Amendment three states that there should not be a quartering act. Soldiers need permission from the owner of the house. However, amendment three also states that soldiers are allowed to stay at people's houses if there is a law enforced to do so.

Amendment four states that people are protected from unreasonable searches. However, if there is a good reason, the judge can issue a warrant that states who will be arrested and/or what will be searched.

Amendment five states the five rights of the accused criminals. The five rights are grand jury hearing, no self incrimination, no double jeapordies, must have due process, and eminent domain.
Amendment 6

Amendment six states the certain rights in criminal trials. These rights are: the right to a speedy and public trial, the right to an impartial jury in the state where the crime has been commited, the right to know charges against you, the right to hear and question the witnesses against you, and the right to attorney to assist in defense.

Amendment seven states that there are also rights in civil trials. In a civil trial where the value is worth more that twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury will be maintained.
Amendment 8

Amendment eight states that before the trial, there is protection from excessive bail. Also, there is protection from excessive fines or really cruel punishments.

Amendment nine states that people have all rights. People also have rights that are not listed in the Constitution.

Amendment ten states that not all powers go to the federal goverment. Those powers go to the states and/or the people.
