Article 1
Article one states that Congress will contain two seperate parts; the Senate and House of Representatives. Article one also states that Congress has the power to create laws, tax, regulate commerce, declare war, and a lot more. Both the House of Representatives and the Senate contain people of a certain age.
Article 2
Article two states that the Executive branch is led by the president. Article two also states that the Executive branch has the power to carry and/or enforce laws. Certain steps have to be done in order to select a president and vice president.
Article 3
Article three states the the Judicial branch is led by the supreme court. Article three also states that the Judicial branch has the power to declare laws unconstitutional. The Judicial branch also has the power to determine justice for most situations.
Article 4
Article four states that all states are equal; states have to respect and honor other states' laws. Article four also states that Congress is allowed to admit new states, but the new state cannot be formed within the jurisdiction of any other state.
Article 5
Article five states the ways for Congress to amend (change) the Constitution. Congress has to call a convention for proposing the amendment, which has to get approved by three-fourths of the several states. These ratification results will determine the decision about the amendment.
Article 6
Article six states that any laws and/or treaties will be the supreme law of land. Article six also states that all Judicial, Legislative, and Executive members are bound by this constitution and any other laws. Also, there will be no religious tests for any office or public trust.
Article 7
Article seven states that this Constitution has to be ratified (approved) by atleast nine states, in order to establish this Constitution. There are specific steps for this to happen.
